Ammara-Prosseda piano duet

Alessandra Ammara and Roberto Prosseda have played together since 1999, enriching their duo activity with the continuous inputs and ideas coming from their own intensive international solo careers.
Winner at several major competitions, including the Casagrande, Alessandra Ammara has been invited yo perform at major concert halls such as the Musikverein in Vienna and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. As a soloist, she has collaborated with renowned orchestras, as the Berliner and Wiener Symphoniker. In 2013 she recorded the first CD with music from composer Roffredo Caetani (Brilliant Classics).
The reputation of Roberto Prosseda exploded with the Decca label recordings dedicated to Mendelssohn. Since 2011, he has appeared also on piano pédalier: supported by “Orchestra della Radio Svizzera Italiana” directed by Howard Shelley, he recorded the complete opera by Gounod for this unique instrument (Hyperion).

In 2015 Decca released their CD with Mendelssohn's complete works for two pianos and for four hands piano.
